No one is sure about the number of archangels that are out there. Some people say only seven exist, others fifteen. At the same time, the Bible recognizes one archangel, that is, archangel Michael because all the other six, that is Archangels Gabriel, Raphael, Jophiel, Ariel, Azrael, and Chamuel, are only mentioned as angels and not archangels.
