Kendra Leigh Baskett (nee Wilkinson) was born 12th June 1985, to Eric and Patti Wilkinson. She was born in San Diego, California, in the United States, and has a younger brother, Colin. Kendra Wilkinson's father founded several biotechnology companies, before retiring at the early age of 48. Her parents divorced in 1994 when Baskett was nine years old.
Kendra Wilkinson completed her education at Clairemont High School and graduated in 2003. During her time at high school, Baskett was involved with various sports, playing softball for six years,
After high school graduation, Kendra Wilkinson worked as an administrative assistant for a short while, but also started working as a glamour model.
Kendra Wilkinsons celebrity break came in April 2004. Hugh Hefner, of Playboy fame, was celebrating his 78th birthday. Baskett had been hired as part of the entertainment, and she met Hefner on the day.
A short time later, Hefner asked Kendra Wilkinson if she would like to be one of his girlfriends. With stars in her eyes and the promise of luxury and riches, Baskett didn’t hesitate in saying ‘yes.’
E! aired a reality television series called, The Girls Next Door. It documented the lives of Baskett, Holly Madison, and Bridget Marquardt, as Hefner’s girlfriends at the Playboy Mansion.
In 2009, Kendra Wilkinson scored her reality series, called Kendra. The first season of the show followed her life as a single woman preparing for her wedding, after her engagement to a footballer, Hank Baskett. The show aired for three seasons before finishing.
Vivid Entertainment acquired a sex tape of Baskett in 2010, and they were going to release it, but Baskett stopped the release by threatening to sue the company. She reportedly sold the video herself for the sum of $680,000.
Kendra Wilkinson has appeared in several television shows, as well as music videos. Some of her television appearances include Dancing with the Stars, in 2011, and the UK version of, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!, in 2014. She has also appeared on programs such as Entourage and Celebrity Rap Superstar, where she came a very respectable second.
In 2010, Kendra Wilkinson published her memoirs. The book was called, Sliding into Home.

She met Hank Kendra Wilkinson, a professional footballer, in 2008, and they married in 2009 at the Playboy Mansion. They were reportedly paid $120,000 for their wedding photos. They have two children, Alijah Mary, and Hank.
After her first child’s birth, it came to light that Kendra Wilkinsons suffered post-natal depression. It was around that time the family had to move to Indianapolis because of Hank’s career, and Baskett felt isolated and alone.
