Childhood And Early Life
British actor and singer Billie Piper was born on the 22 September 1982 in Swindon, England.
Billie Piper was a pupil at the Sylvia Young Theatre School.
Rise To Fame
Billie Piper’s first television role was in a children’s television programme, Scratchy & Co. (1995-1998).
While still in her teens Billie Piper recorded her first single, Because We Want To, was a number one hit. This success was followed by the single Girlfriend, which was also a number one hit. Her first album Honey to the B (1998) which went platinum Her second album was Walk of Life (2003).
From 2004 onwards, Piper concentrated on acting. She appeared in The Doctor (2005-2006), Secret Diary of a Call Girl (2007-2011), and in Doctor Who (2008, 2010 and 2013). Piper also played the part of an Irish immigrant in Penny Dreadful, a drama-horror television series (2014-2016).
Billie Piper is also an accomplished stage actress and received critical acclaim for her performance in Yerma, winning six best actress awards.

Billie Piper was married to British DJ Chris Evans in May 2001, and they divorced in May 2007. In late December 2007, she married Laurence Fox, and they divorced in 2016. Billie Piper and Laurence Fox had two children together.
