The basic fear of the Enneagram type 4 person surfaces if you find your thoughts and actions to be defective. It is then that you become pessimistic and gloomy, as well as jealous about the fact that others can work out things in a smooth manner. To make matters worse, you are typically moody and emotionally unstable. This might lead to a verbal confrontation at home or in the office.
