Shea and cocoa butter are important ingredients in many moisturizers that are great natural remedies for your face. Because they are main ingredients, they are great to use as moisturizers on their own.

You can rub either of the butters onto your skin. You can add this to your daily routine of skin care or just do it every couple of days.

#2. Banana & Milk Mask

Bananas can be mixed with milk to make a mask that you can wear on your face to add moisture to your skin. Mash up a banana and mix it in a blender with a tablespoon of milk.

Let the banana paste and milk mix until they see to be at a paste-like consistency. Once it is mixed, let the mask sit on your face for about twenty minutes. When the time is up, rinse off your face with cool water.

#3. Egg Whites & Honey Mask

Another great natural remedy for smooth skin is to make a face mask is by using egg whites and honey. First, separate the whites from one egg and put them in a cup or bowl. Next, add in a tablespoon of honey.

Mix the two together until they reach a paste-like consistency. Put the egg mask on your face for at least twenty minutes. When the time is up, rinse the mix off of your face with cool water.

Natural Remedies For Oily Skin

#1. Daily Care

There are many easy home remedies that you can do to keep your skin from getting oily just by adjusting your daily routine. You should wash your face with cool water at least once a day. If you can, try to keep your hair back.

Oil on your hair can end up on your face if they touch too often. Also, try not to touch your face too often, as your hands have oils on them as well. If you like, wear less makeup, or switch to mineral based makeups. Many makeups contain oils that can make your face more oily.

#2. Baking Soda Mask

Just like there are masks that can add moisture to your face, there are also home remedies that you can use to take away some of the oiliness from your skin. Mix a few tablespoons of baking soda (enough to cover your face) with an equal amount of water.

Mix the two until it reaches a paste-like consistency. Put this baking soda mask on your face and let it harden. Once it is hard, let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with cool water.

#3. Apple Cider Vinegar

Using apple cider vinegar is a great home remedy to get rid of the oiliness on your skin. Mix a tablespoon of vinegar with the same amount of water. Dip a cotton ball into the apple cider vinegar mix and rub it on your oily spots. Do this at least once a day. Don’t worry about the smell it leaves; it’ll go away once the vinegar evaporates.

Natural Home Remedies For Acne

#1. Honey

Using honey is a great natural remedy to get rid of acne. All you have to do is put honey on your acne spots. This might be best to do before you go to bed so that the honey can soak into your acne.

If you are worried about the honey getting everywhere and getting everything sticky, then you can put a bandage over the honey to ensure that it stays in one place.

#2. Epsom Salt

Another way to get rid of acne scars is to use epsom salt. Dissolve a tablespoon of epsom salt into a glass of warm water. Once the two seem mixed, take a cotton ball and dip it into the mix and then rub it on your acne. Do this at least once a day to see improvement.

#3. Steam

Another natural remedy for acne is to use steam. First, boil a pot of water. Once the water is boiling, take it off of your stove. You may also want to dump the boiled water into another bowl. Put your face over the pot or bowl and let the steam go on your face. If you have the opportunity, going into a sauna may also help.

Hopefully these natural home remedies can help you with whichever skin care issue you needed help with. Good luck!
